  • A useful website for details of current events, news updates and much more.  Please see Mid Wales Permaculture Network.
  • The Lampeter Youth Theatre is exclusively for the Youth of Lampeter. It will offer a shared cultural activity for all ages, including parents! Theatre is a valuable education tool. It teaches teamwork, literacy, speech and drama, social skills and artistic appreciation. The technical side of Theatre teaches maths, manual and spatial skills; creative design and practical skills such as electronics and joinery. Best of all it boosts a child’s confidence and offers an emotional outlet for negative feelings. There is a lot of talent in the town, both juvenile and adult, and it would be wonderful if the young and the not-so-young could work together on this project. A term’s fees of £48 will be collected at Registration unless parents or guardians are involved with helping with Theatre activities*. The cost is £5.00 per day for children who wish to attend sessions on an occasional basis. *to qualify for free membership to LYT parents and guardians are asked to commit to 6 sessions of help per child.
